Festival Receives Recognition
During the Kentucky Festival & Events Association’s annual conference held in Louisville on January 17-18, the Logan County Tobacco & Heritage Festival received First Place in the Merchandising category for “Best Festival Wearable.” The Festival’s Rockin’ On guitar logo placed on a denim shirt was selected the winner based on creativity, uniqueness, design, layout, usability and overall appeal. Lisa Browning and Holly Kash with the Logan County Chamber of Commerce were present to accept the award. Local designer, Ann Scott, was instrumental in creating the Festival logo.
Also during the conference, a presentation entitled “User Friendly Websites” highlighted the Chamber’s site www.loganchamber.com as being an excellent example of website design and usability.
Festivals from all over Kentucky participated in the awards program and conference.
